A QUIET BAY

Sveti Ivan

Just a short walk from Villa Abba, the *St. Ivan Gradina trail* follows the beautiful coastline toward Gradina Bay. The trail is easy and mostly flat, making it suitable for all fitness levels, with plenty of lovely spots for swimming along the way. At Gradina, a short climb leads to the *15th-century Church of St. John*, located on the site of an ancient Illyrian hillfort. From here, you can enjoy wonderful sea views and one of the most beautiful sunsets in the area — perfect for an evening walk during your stay.

At the end of July, Vela Luka comes together for days of music and remembrance dedicated to Oliver Dragojević. Concerts and cultural events fill the town with songs, emotion and a special Dalmatian atmosphere.
